Wayne Shreves

Wayne Emmitt Shreves, 80 of Littleton; passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018.

Raised in Trinidad, CO by his grandparents, he went into the Navy after high School, flying on C-Planes out of Bermuda. Wayne graduated from the University of Colorado with a business degree after leaving the Navy. He then worked as an executive for IBM for many years before starting several financial businesses. Wayne then continued his love of finance by owning his own mortgage lending business with his wife, Barbara. Wayne was actively involved in his children's lives, including coaching football and baseball for 10 years. He also attended many of his grandchildren's sport activities.

His spirit is carried on by many, including Barbara, his wife of 23 years, his children: Beth, Wayne, Bob, Shawn, Shane, and Bill; and his grandchildren: Haley, Griffin, Gaby, Amanda, April, Cooper, Bailey, Cole, Lana, Billy and Emma. Wayne was preceded in death by one child, Kimberly.

A Celebration of Life service for Wayne will be held at Drinkwine Family Chapel on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.
