Alva Dexter Glidewell Jr.

A.D. Glidewell Jr. 95, Centennial, Colorado, died on March 25, 2021. A.D. was born on February 9, 1926 in Strickler, Arkansas. He was the youngest child and only son of Zura and A.D. Glidewell Sr.

He was married to Joyce for 68 years. He was preceded in death by his son Rodney Glidewell on November 5, 2004. He has three daughters; Beverly Glidewell, Marilyn Maier and Peggy Younger.

He has 4 granddaughters and seven great grandchildren.
He worked for Gulf Oil Company for 30 years as a Senior Geologist.

He served in the Marine Corp from September 11, 1946 until December 5, 1952. He left the service as a 1st Lieutenant.

He enjoyed gardening and fishing as hobbies.

Graveside services will be held on Monday April 5, 2021 at 2:15 PM (staging area "C") at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
