Ann Toomey Arndt

Ann Toomey Arndt passed away on October 29, 2021. She was preceded in death by her first husband Edward Toomey, her second husband Vernon Arndt and her stepson Matt Arndt (Ellen Corwin), her sister Mary Jane Riordon and brother Bill Riordon. She is survived by her sister Sr. Eleanor Riordon OSF, 5 sons: Jim (Teresa), Mike (Grace), John (Holly), Dan (Brenda), Brian (Susan); 5 stepsons: Mark (Kim), Wayne (Peggy), Steve (Donna), David (Glory), Kevin (Maura) and stepdaughter Mary. Grandchildren: Joe (Nadège), Bridget (Ben Ryan), Ryan, Adam (Brittany), Megan, Conor, Jordyn, Jon, Morgan, Liam, Kellen, Alison, Dustin (Erin), David (Elizabeth), Julia (Alex Becker), Autumn, Jenna and Katie, Curtis and Christopher. Great grandchildren: Everett, George, Camden, Logan, Eloise, Molly and Lily.

Ann was born in Clinton, IA on July 29, 1932. She attended St Mary’s grade school, Our Lady of Angels High School and graduated from St Ambrose College of Nursing in 1954. She was a long time nurse and was very active at St Mary’s Church of Littleton. Her focus on caring for her large, extended clan and friends was legendary. She was a force in the lives of many and will be missed.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 7th 2022 at 10:30am at St Mary Catholic Church, Littleton CO.  A reception hosted by the Altar & Rosary Society will follow at the church with a private interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
