Ann Brunsman Lester, beloved wife, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. She was born on November 5, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Robert and Jeannette Webster Brunsman.
Ann is survived by her husband, Ron Lester; her brother, Jim Brunsman, and his wife, Anita; her sister, Amy Brunsman Owens; her sister-in-law, Renee Lester d’Angelo, and Renee’s husband, Christophe d’Angelo; her niece, Bethany Veasey; her great-niece, Hudson Veasey; her great-nephew, Harris Veasey; her niece and nephew, Joel and Cata Chisolm; and her great-nephew, Diego Chisolm.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jeannette Brunsman, and her brother-in-law, Dale Owens.
Ann and Ron shared a life marked by love, companionship, resilience, and many treasured memories. Together, they built a life filled with family, friendship, travel, music, laughter, and a deep devotion to one another.
Ann will be remembered for her caring and humble spirit, her great love for her family, especially her great niece and nephews, and her appreciation for a nice buttery chardonnay. She had a generous heart and was always ready to help family or friends in any way she could.
A visitation will be held at Drinkwine Family Mortuary on Thursday May 28, 2026, from 5:00 until 6:30 pm. A private service for family will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lung Cancer Colorado Fund, the Cherry Creek Chorale, or the charity of your choice.
Ann’s life was a gift to those who loved her, and her memory will remain a blessing.
