Anna Mae (Ann, Mom, Aunt Annie, and Nanny) Brant (Conner) was born on March 5, 1939, in Yuma, Colorado, and passed peacefully at the age of 86 on April 2, 2025, at her memory care home in Littleton, Colorado—finally free from the difficult journey of dementia.
Ann is survived by her brother Larry (Pat) and sister Betty. Ann had three children Larry (Jan), Dave (Ginger), and Kris (Eddie); her cherished grandchildren Sara (Lance), Kayleigh (Mike), Karah (Aaron), Evan, and Sage; and her great-grandchildren Asher, Korban, Henley, and Harlynn. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Larry, who passed just seven months before her.
A proud graduate of West High School in Denver, Ann spent her childhood summers on her grandparents’ farm in Yuma, where she gathered memories she treasured throughout her life. Early in her career, she worked at Martin Marietta and proudly became the first woman to be granted full security clearance—a groundbreaking achievement at the time.
Ann met her husband, Larry Conner, at Bolero Bowl, where their shared a passion for bowling and sparked a romance that led to a lifetime together. They were married on March 11, 1961, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Englewood, Colorado.
After raising their family, Ann joined Larry in running Arapahoe Coin and Stamp, where they served the Littleton community for 26 years, helping collectors buy and sell unique and meaningful treasures.
Ann will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her infectious giggle, her unwavering selflessness, and her ability to make everyone feel at home. Her chicken and noodles over mashed potatoes was a legendary family favorite—comfort food that, much like Ann, nourished the soul.
Ann’s life was a beautiful testament to love, laughter, and grace. Her quiet but steadfast faith was the foundation of her strength and the light that guided her path. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Drinkwine Family Mortuary in Littleton, Colorado. A celebration of Ann’s life will follow at the Cherry Cricket in Littleton, where friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor her legacy.
