Anne Bailey was born in New Jersey in 1929 and attended Bloomfield High School. After graduating from Lasell College and working in retail, she married the love of her life, Ted Bailey. When the family relocated to Colorado in 1972, she pursued her interest in the western U.S. with volunteer work with the Colorado Historical Society. She also advocated for educational opportunities for women through her work with PEO. Anne is remembered by all who knew her for her warmth and generosity. She is survived by her husband Ted to whom she was married for 69 years, sister Cindy, sons Mike (Rozeanne) and David (Lisa), daughter Barbara (Daniel), and five grandchildren.
