Major Anthony J. Polizzi, Air Force Maintenance Operation Officer assigned to the 15th Maintenance Group at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickman, passed away suddenly on Tuesday December 29th, 2020 in Hawaii. He was 31 years young. He is the beloved son of Guy and Rosemary (Hamann) Polizzi, brother to Dan (Kayla), Nick, and Erin. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A private ceremony will be held in Denver, CO, and a funeral mass of Christian burial will be held in Buffalo, NY at a later time this year. Anthony was a kindhearted, genuine person with the warmest, most infectious smile and laugh. His sense of humor would always lift you up. Everyone who met him couldn’t help but love him. He made everyone feel like family. Even though Anthony moved out of WNY, Buffalo was always with him. He religiously wore his #12 Jim Kelly jersey to watch the Bills games, no matter what country or time zone he was in. As he would say, “You don’t mess with tradition.” The Bills games were Anthony’s way to bring his friends and family together: his friends and family were his greatest priority. He often ended conversations with “Go Bills.” If you would like to make a donation in honor of Anthony, please consider donating to the Buffalo Bills Foundation “Huddle for Hunger” campaign. We love you, Anthony. Go Bills.
