Antonio “Tony” Sandoval, was born June 14th 1948 to Maximo and Victoria (Avila) Sandoval in Nochistlán, Zacatecas in Mexico. He passed away at home in Aurora, CO July 4th, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maximo and Victoria (Avila) Sandoval and brothers, Florencio, Ruben, and sister Carmen.
He is survived by his former wife Isabel Sandoval, brothers Benjamin, Ramón, and Miguel as well as his sisters Theresa and Julia, his sons Maximo and Antonio II, daughter Rosa Blanca, grandchildren Estephan, Marissa, Austin, Maximo Jacob, and Benjamin Santiago, numerous extended family members and friends, and special friends through the years.
Antonio was a man of high morals and great honor. He was an excellent father and a friend to all he met. He left a lasting impression on those he crossed paths with. He enjoyed rodeos, playing the guitar, harmonica, and dancing. Antonio showed those around him the significance of having a sense of humor and put a smile on the faces of those he encountered throughout his day; making others smile was his act of love. He had a generous heart filled with compassion. His spirit of courage and sincerity lives on in the legacy he left on this earth.
A viewing will be held Friday July 9th 4pm-7pm at Drinkwine Family Mortuary 999 W Littleton Blvd Littleton, CO 80120.
The Funeral Service will be held Saturday July 10th, 2021 10am at St. Therese Catholic Church located at 1243 Kingston St. Aurora, CO 80010 followed by a reception in the church hall. Family and friends are invited to the home of Isabel Sandoval for fellowship afterwards to visit and share memories of Antonio at 833 Fulton St. Aurora, CO 80010.
