Barbara A. Parker, age 90, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2020 at her home in Littleton, Colorado.

Barbara was born on September 27, 1930 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was one of ten children born to Murnon and Essie Hooker. She attended Byrd High School and went on to work as a secretary for Equifax until retirement.

Mrs. Parker enjoyed doing arts and crafts, baking all kinds of goodies and sharing them with friends and family. She raised her children with love and devotion and loved being called "Momma". Barbara was a long time resident of Logansport, LA with her husband J.R. "Buddy" Parker who preceded her in death. There she was active in her church and community. She relocated to Colorado in 2005 where she continued in her faith and kindness.

Barbara is survived by her sister, Cherry Gail (Kenneth), daughter, Roxanne (Ron), son, Jimmy (Ana), grandchildren Ashley and James (Hilary), great grandson, Torin and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life with be held in Shreveport, LA later this Spring.

"When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little - but not for long, and not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared, miss me, but let me go."
