Beverly Cummiskey Obituary

Ms. Beverly Kay Cummiskey, born on January 30, 1947, in Mankato, Minnesota to Vincent and Blanche Cummiskey, passed away peacefully on February 12th, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Beverly moved to Colorado in 1958 where her family established themselves in Littleton, Colorado. Beverly attended Littleton High School and then Barnes Business College.

Beverly enjoyed a remarkable career at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Frontier Airlines and the Adam’s Mark, where she formed lasting friendships that she cherished throughout her life. Her professionalism and dedication to her work were matched only by her kindness and compassion for others.

Beverly was a beacon of positivity and warmth, touching the lives of hundreds with her extraordinary gift of creating healing blankets. Her spirit radiated a positive light that inspired everyone around her.

She is survived by her brothers Tim Cummiskey and Bev’s best friend and sister-in-law Susan (Sooz) Hobson, Tom Cummiskey; step-children Jenyce Houg-Brown (Jeremy), and Troy Houg, her nieces Cory Kraft, Heather (Todd) Roser, Katie (Jarad) Switzer, nephew, Conner Cummiskey; and seven great nieces and nephews. All who adored her. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Vincent and Blanche, her sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Dennis Henderson, her step-son Wade Houg and many others who loved and cherished her.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she enriched. Her legacy of love and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society in her memory.

In celebration of her life, let us remember the love she gave, the comfort she provided, and the inspiration she instilled in all of us. Family will be hosting a Celebration of Life in the spring of 2025.
