Bonnie Lou Lautenbach

Bonnie, age 91, went to be with Jesus peacefully on July 21, 2024. Bonnie was born in Pella, Iowa. She graduated from Pella High School and attained her elementary teaching degree from Central College.

She was always up for an adventure when she married Dick in 1951! 

She has traveled the world encouraging missionaries with Dick, sharing the Lord with everyone she came in contact with  even to the end with her many Nurses, Doctors, and Caregivers.

Bonnie had a real servant’s heart, always giving.

Despite her many adventures the most important thing in her life was her Lord, Dick and her family. She was an amazing hostess to everyone that  came through her door, also creating many memorable holiday celebrations for her entire family filled with love, laughter and plenty of amazing food and goodies.

She was an amazing wife, mother, grammy, great grammy and friend to all who crossed her path. She will be deeply missed by her husband Dick of 72 years.

Children: Connie(Tom) Grant, Debbie(Trey) Meyers and Fred(Lorie) Lautenbach; Grandchildren: T(Sarah) Grant, Gigi(Jeff) Riddle, Nathan and Luke(Haley) Meyers, Hannah(Andy) Denlinger and Jesse(Ty) Johnson; Great grandchildren: Lindsay Riddle, Teson, Previn, Sebastian and Ryker Grant, Hank and Clyde Meyers, Levi, Amelia and Luke Denlinger, Boaz and Malachi Johnson.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM - Grace Chapel Castle Rock - 935 Evalena Road Castle Rock, CO 80108.
