Bonnie Lee Veltrie

Bonnie Lee Veltrie age 96, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024, she was called back home to our Lord. Bonnie was born December 1,1927 in Englewood, CO to Mary Nila Shirley and Erna B. Thompson. The fifth sibling of 10 raised in Englewood, CO. Bonnie was a graduate of Englewood High School class of 1945, worked at Woolworths Department Store then at the Federal Center before meeting her husband Keith I Veltrie Sr. and they married on May 27,1956 at St. Louis Catholic church in Englewood. The two started a family together in a home they built in 1962. Together they created a loving environment to raise 4 children: Keith Jr., Kevin, Kristina (Tina) and Kyle. Bonnie is preceded in death by Keith I. Veltrie Sr. She leaves behind her children: Keith Jr., Kevin (spouse Carol), his son Michael and stepson Larry (spouse Tommie) and their daughter Mayson; Kristina (spouse Richard), their kids Spencer (spouse Jen) their sons Braeden and Greyson, Jake (spouse Claire), Dylan; Kyle (spouse Patti) and stepdaughter Diane Murphy (spouse Matt) and their daughters Leah and Nora. Her interests were sitting down with a good book, tending her rose gardens, puzzles and crocheting.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 10:15AM and Memorial Prayer Service at 11AM on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Drinkwine Family Mortuary. A reception will follow the service at Kyle and Patti Veltrie's home, 2322 Terraridge Drive, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126.
