Bradley Peter Obituary

Bradley Rick Peter passed away on December 20, 2021 at the young age of 32. He was born on December 16th, 1989 in Bellingham, WA to Rick and DeAnne Peter. He was raised in Nooksack, WA where he met his wife Kathleen (nee Hilgart) and together, they have four beautiful children, Jaelyn, Elijah, Lucas and Aiden. Shortly after marrying, Brad enlisted in the Army and was assigned to Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado in 2014. Brad proudly served as an intelligence analyst and took great pride in defending his country– particularly safeguarding those in harm’s way around the globe. He was exceptionally gifted in his craft, and shared his knowledge and passion with everyone he served with.  In 2015, Brad deployed to Iraq as part of a special task force countering threats against U.S. & Allied forces. After his honorable Army service, he continued to serve his nation as a contractor for the Unmanned Systems SIGINT Exploitation Team at the Aerospace Data Facility-Colorado until his passing. His relentless pursuit of driving the mission forward, technical expertise, and communication around the globe with U.S. military and intelligence services is unmatched and irreplaceable. Brad’s generosity was one of a kind; selfless. He was everyone’s favorite person, a little brother to most who knew him, and took a genuine interest in others lives. Brad was a constant reassuring presence and he will be sorely missed.
Bradley is survived by his wife Kathleen, children Jaelyn, Elijah, Lucas, and Aiden. Mother DeAnne and Father Rick Peter. Sisters Michelle(Chadd) White and Amanda Peter. Maternal grandparents Dean Peterson and Edith Woordward (Woodie). Paternal grandparents Don Peter and Carol Nieuwendorp (Rich). Nieces Holly, Kaycee, Grace, and Maya, and nephew Christopher and countless friends.
