Brett S. DeTamble

Brett was born on February 10, 1948 and died March 26, 2021. He celebrated his 73rd birthday in the hospital fighting a short battle with cancer, multiple myeloma. He was the best friend and beloved husband to his wife Shianne. They celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2020.

Brett attended Christ The King Catholic School, Aurora Central High School and graduated from University of Colorado Denver. The majority of Brett's career was with USPS, retiring in Operations Support.

When Brett retired in his late 50's, he completed a two year Microsoft certification program for computer networking. He also completed a real estate appraisal course. He loved being home doing anything with computers, including building them. His other great passion was working out and seeing all his workout buddies.

Brett is survived by his wife Shianne DeTamble, brother Scott (Sue) DeTamble from Denver, CO, step-mother Jan DeTamble from Green Valley, AZ, sisters-in-law Sheryl Garvik from Brush, CO and Sharon (Gary) Wilson from Ft. Morgan, CO. Also, nephews Charlie (Roberta) DeTamble from Los Lunas, NM, Jeremy (Rosie) Garvik from Brush, CO, nieces Dawnell (Aaron) Dunihoo from Ft. Morgan, CO and Jaime (Ben) Brunner from Brush, CO.

Preceding him in death was his father Perc DeTamble, mother Gay (Jack) Hilton, his mother and father-in-law Louise and Marvin Gardner, nephew Ryan Quint, niece Michele Blake and brother-in-law Larry Garvik.

Viewing & Visitaion will be held at 5PM with Recitation of Rosary at 6PM on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Drinkwine Family Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30AM on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 6853 South Prince Street, Littleton, CO 80120. Private interment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
