Bruce Howard Obituary
On Monday, March 22nd 2021, Bruce Howard, passed away at age 71.
Bruce was born on February 27th, 1950 in Hempstead, NY to George and Ruth Howard.
He lived in two foreign countries & six states, & visited seven other countries.
In his youth, he started his own lawn mowing business with a junked lawn mower he repaired himself, buying his first tank of gas with money from scavenged Coors cans.
He served in the Air Force from 1968 – 1972 where he repaired jet engines, becoming an illustrator before leaving the Air Force.
He was a passionate photographer, & painted, sculpted, etched glass, embroidered & played the flute & guitar. He enjoyed amateur radio (KB0UIH) and making custom flutes, especially for his Native American clients.
He is survived by his son Rawn, Grandson Aiden and two sisters, Frances Scott and Valerie Miller.
