Carolyn "Sue" Manyik

Carolyn “Sue” Manyik 71.  Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, passed peacefully in her sleep on August 8, 2023.

Sue was born on January 4, 1952 in New Mexico, but lived in many places from Oklahoma, to New Orleans and Argentina, before she called Colorado home. She loved to travel and loved her most recent trips with her family to see Disneyland for the first time! And her last trip with her family to see Adele in Las Vegas! Sue graduated from OU and was a very proud Sooner fan, but she also loved her Denver Broncos.  After graduating she moved to New Orleans, where she worked as a NICU Respiratory Therapist. She also worked as a Respiratory Therapist at Porter Hospital, before retiring to be a Housewife to her husband Richard and Grandmother to her Grandchildren whom she adored. She also adored her Macaw, Palu, who called her Ma.  She stayed active in her parish as a Eucharistic Minister and as part of the Steven’s Ministry.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard Manyik, her parents Carroll and Mary Coulson, brother Richard and sister Patty.

She is survived by her Children Peggy Erickson (Kevin), Dennis Manyik, Mike Manyik (Teresa), Wendy Cooper (Dave). Her grandchildren Shannon Griffin (Jon), Kimberly Richardson, Michael Manyik, Joshua Erickson (Stacey), Matthew Manyik (Caroline), Deserea Levy (Seth) and Ashley Cooper. Great Grandchildren Isabella, Austin, Brenner, Jaxon, Westen  and Jack, as well as Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
