Charlene Rae Moore

Charlene Rae Moore was born on July 11, 1944, to Charles and Wilma Vaughan. She grew up in Longmont, Colorado. In 1962 she graduated from Longmont High School and proceeded on to Cosmetology School where, through a family member, she would meet Allen Moore. They married in May of 1963 and welcomed their first child, Allen Dale, in September of 1966. She worked as a beautician while Allen worked as a pipe fitter and served in the National Guard. In January of 1969 they welcomed their second child, Craig Marshall, to their little family.

In 1973 they moved into their new house in what is now called Centennial, Colorado. She continued to do hair until age would not allow her to do so. She also worked in the Littleton Public Schools in the cafeteria service.

Charlene was a very spiritual lady, always in church, leading those she felt needed the Lord. She sang in the choir and did many Bible studies and teachings. She was always searching for more and more information on the Lord. She loved when someone took an interest and was always available for a reassuring word or support.

Supporting her family was Charlene’s top priority. With her sons throughout school, sports, and eventually into becoming a grandma, she attended their events whenever she could. She was always reaching out to her family for updates on what was happening and how they were all doing.

Anyone who met or knew her, knew how much she shined and touched those around her. We know she is walking with the Lord now. She is at peace and no longer in pain. We celebrate her today as she has moved on to Glory in Heaven.

Viewing and Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 11:30AM with a Funeral Service at 12:30PM at Drinkwine Family Mortuary. Interment will follow at 3PM at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
