Chuck passed peacefully on 3/11/25 at the Highline Memory Care Center surrounded by his family after a grueling battle with Alzheimer's.
He was born in Louisa, Kentucky on June 18, 1945. He was the middle child of 13.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sharon, his son Dale, his granddaughter Jackie, and two great grandchildren, Arianna and Elijah. His son Devin and granddaughter Samantha, proceeded him in death.
Chuck moved to Colorado at the age of 17 into a loving foster home. He worked various jobs in Denver and was working at Samsonite when he met Sharon,
He started at the Post Office on 3/9/84 and retired on 9/15/09. He was bored after retirement and started working at Sears and worked there for about 4 years until it closed.
He will be greatly missed by not only his family, but all of his friends and neighbors, but all of the caregivers in his last days.
Some may wonder why we are celebrating his life on 4/1, but he was a jokester who often played tricks on people he knew, so what a fitting day to say goodbye.
Celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Drinkwine Family Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in his name and memory.
