Coreta Wilder Brewer, 87, of Roanoke and formerly of Englewood, Colorado, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. She was born in Corbin, Kentucky, on September 9, 1937.
Coreta retired after over 30 years of dedicated service from Cherrelyn Healthcare Center. She was an avid reader with a passion for crochet and baking. Her exceptional crochet work brought beloved characters to life, leaving cherished keepsakes for her family and friends. Coreta’s baked creations were the highlight of every celebration, filling homes with warmth, joy and the aroma of her love.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Brewer; son, Dennis Ray Brewer; sisters and brothers, Inez, Patricia, Geanie, Carolyn, Juanita, Isaac (Junior), Lee, and Teresa. She is survived by her son, Hershel A. Brewer (Cheryl); grandchildren, Michelle Brewer, Austin Brewer (Michelle), Danielle Ulmer (Zach), Jennifer Crecelius (Alexander), Tyler Brewer (Elyse); sisters, Marian, June, Joan, and Judith; best friend, Faye Daley; and her beloved dog, Bella.
A graveside service will be held January 16, 2025 at 11:30am at Littleton Cemetery in Littleton, Colorado, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Hershel.
