Corline A. Henderson

Corline A. (Hansen) Henderson, 93 of Littleton, Colorado passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on her 93rd Birthday, April 23, 2023

Corline was born in Atlantic, Iowa to Hans Ejnert and Christina Daugard Hansen on April 23, 1930.  Corline attended school in Cass County and she was really proud of her Danish heritage. She loved farm life; you would usually find her cleaning the barn instead of cleaning the house.  Starting at the age of 13 she worked at the Sale Barn Cafe, where she enjoyed being around all the animals and the locals.  She always looked forward to Sunday service at the Oakhill Lutheran Church in Brayton Iowa where she spent quality time with all her aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Corline and Ross married in 1947 and in 1951 they packed only the belongings that would fit in their car, their young son Dennis and headed to Colorado to start a new journey. In 1952, they welcomed their daughter Christy and their family was complete. In 1953, they started Henderson Construction where Corline was instrumental in the success of their company. Throughout their very successful building years, they built over 3,000 homes across Littleton and Englewood.

Corline and Ross retired in 1986 and spent time on a small cattle ranch in Parshall Colorado, their home in Littleton and enjoyed snowbirding in Mesa, Arizona.

They enjoyed traveling, going all over the world. A few of her favorites were a trip to Europe with her lifelong friend Ramona Larsen, Christy and Ramona’s daughter Debbie,  Switzerland and Denmark.

She loved her grandkids and spending quality time with them. She enjoyed soccer games, volleyball games, baseball games, and football games. She even attended her great grandkids sporting events, birthday parties and dinners. She was the best mom, grandma, great grandma, and friend anyone could ask for.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ross, her son Dennis and her daughter in law Nancy.

She is survived by her daughter Christy Conrardy (Keith), 5 grand kids, Cory, Shaine (Aimee), Heather (Todd), Jessie (Steve), Katie (Jarad) and 12 great grandkids.

Viewing 10:30AM and Funeral Service at 11:00AM on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 6322 S. Lakeview Street, Littleton CO 80120. The Henderson family will host a reception following the service at the church.

Interment to follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at 1:00PM, Staging Area A.
