Daniel E. Smith

Born in Newport, Tennessee to John and Helen Smith, he had 8 siblings: Marjorie, Lynn, Darlene, Bonnie, Pat, Carol, Janie and Sherri.

He fell in Love and Married Goldie Karean on April 26, 1959. The two raised 5 children: Danny, Pammy, Tammy, John and Clint.

Daniel loved spending time working with his hands, He was a carpenter from the time he was 15 years old and working with his father. He built many houses from the ground up. He also built many pieces of furniture. He made cedar chests for all of his children and Wife. More than anything he "loved" spending time and caring his "Beautiful Wife." He also loved spoiling all his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. If you came to visit you never left with an empty tummy, Daddy loved to feed you!!!!!

Family meant the world to Daniel, He had the biggest heart and would help anyone. He was a quite man but was very smart and you could ask him about anything and he would have an answer. He never judged anyone. He loved his family whole heartedly and worked hard his whole life to provide for them. He was a Strong and Proud man that never complained. Daniel is Survived by Sons: Dan, John (Kay) and Clint (Shawn) Daughters: Pammy (George) and Tammy (Mylin), 9 Granddaughters, 8 Grandsons, 6 Great-Granddaughters and 13 Great-Grandsons. As well as a large extended family!!!

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Drinkwine Family Mortuary.
