One of his favorite pastimes was to chat and talk to every soul who would lend an ear. At times, when he was pulled away from conversations, he would work on building a home from scratch.
Enjoying and teaching his family about the great outdoors was important and one of his passions. Packing up the family and heading out on numerous road trips to the beautiful, majestic sights, National Parks, viewing the sights of Europe, visiting relatives across the states or when he became a snowbird, he headed south to Texas for the winter, the love of travel never ceased. Weekend camping trips were common and he loved to challenge the mountain roads in the Rocky Mountains which lead to some unforgettable memories.
