David D Lambert
Born on the 3rd of November 1950 in Whitmer, West Virginia he passed peacefully in his sleep on the 3rd of December 2022.
David Lambert (aka Duane or Navy Dave) is survied by his sisters and brother in-law Barbara “sue” King and Mary (Kevin) Broder. His children; Aubrey (Lilian) Lambert, Donny (Liz) Lambert, (Sarah Reinbold), David (Krissy) Lambert, Betty (Rob) McNiel and his 7 Grandchildren; Bryle, Kiana, Darrion, Zadkiel, Uriel, Achyllies McNiel and Camiel also his wife and friend Josefina Lambert.
He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, great uncle but the title that gave him the most happiness was Papa or Grandpa.
David Lambert Graduated from Englewood High in 68’ and then enlisted in the US Navy and proudly served 20+ years serving his country until his retirement. David received decorations, medals, badges, citations and campaign ribbons. This includes:
(4) good conduct medals, (2) battle “E” ribbons, (3) meritorious unit commendations, (2) navy marine corps overseas service ribbons, (3) sea service deployment ribbons, (3) navy expeditionary medals, humanitarian service medals, (2) Philippine republic presidential unit citations, Vietnam service medal and a national defense medal and became a technical mechanic after his military service career.
He lived life to the fullest he brought light, laughter and love to every space he occupied and shared with others. He made life happen and joyful. He had a passion for Hunting, Camping, Fishing, fast muscle cars, music, movies and food and he could cook! But most importantly he loved his family and spending every moment he could with them. Selfless, strong, humble, hilarious and humorous wit spoke volumes about him. His laugh, smile and jocular attitude were infectious. His willingness to help others was immeasurable no matter how big or small the task was. He never met a stranger and people were genuinely attracted to him.
Dave will be greatly missed and remembered by his family and friends.
