Donald Noyes Obituary

Donald P. Noyes, 85 of Littleton, CO; passed away peacefully on Saturday September 4th surrounded by his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul P. and Ester A. Noyes, and his sister June E. McDermott. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Parsons Noyes, his sister Audrey J. Hill of Pleasanton, California, and four children, Greg of Aurora, Colorado, Cindy Durham of Melbourne, Florida, Scott of Denver, Colorado and Brian of League City, Texas. 

Don was born and raised in San Francisco, California where he graduated from George Washington High School. Following high school, he attended City College in San Francisco and served 8 years in the Navy Reserve, including 1 year of active duty in Vietnam. Don graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from San Jose State University in 1968. In 1970 he and his family moved to Colorado where he started EMJD Corporation, a Precision Sheet Metal Manufacturing business in Englewood, Colorado.  Don retired in 2001 and traveled the world with his wife. He loved his seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies. Don was a Master Mason, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and an El Jebel Shriner.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, October 17th at 1:00PM at Drinkwine Family Mortuary with light refreshment afterwards.  Military Funeral Honors will be rendered Fort Logan National Cemetery on Monday, October 18th at 11:00 am.
