Donny Lock Harlan, III

Donny Harlan, beloved son to his mother and stepfather, Camie and Chuck Cooper, and father, Don Harlan, passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 36. Born on February 8, 1988, in Denver, Colorado, Donny spent his formative years in Littleton, Colorado, where he cultivated lasting connections, touched the hearts of those around him and left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Donny's journey through life led him through various experiences, from his time at Arapahoe High School to a brief stint in Boulder, Colorado, before returning to his beloved Littleton. Basketball coursed through Donny's veins from a young age, weaving its way into the fabric of his existence.

An avid sports enthusiast, Donny's heart beat loudest for the Denver Nuggets and Denver Broncos. His love for sports was unwavering, a testament to the joy and camaraderie it brought into his life.

He enjoyed culinary arts, finding solace and fulfillment in the art of culinary creation. Donny's love for being in the kitchen was matched only by his adoration for dogs, with his faithful companion Rocket holding a special place in his heart.

Donny's deep bond with his family was evident to all who knew him. He treasured moments spent with loved ones and found comfort in their presence. Donny’s most treasured moments were his late-night chats with his mom. His bond with his siblings was strengthened by love and shared experiences, and his joy knew no bounds when he became an uncle, delighting in the laughter and playfulness of his nieces and nephews. His love for family was unwavering, and he found solace in their company.

As Donny embarks on his next journey, his family finds comfort in knowing that he is reunited with his Grandma Kay and Grandpa Don, as well as his cousin Ashlie, who passed just two days after him.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Donny's life at a visitation and memorial open house, where stories will be shared and memories cherished amidst food and refreshments. The event will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Drinkwine Family Mortuary.

In Donny's memory, let us cherish the moments we shared, the laughter we enjoyed, and the love that continues to bind us together. Though he may be gone, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
