Dorothy A. "Dee" Petree

Dorothy A “Dee” Petree, 94, Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother passed away peacefully in her home on January 25, 2025.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Larry Petree, her mother, Eulalia Frazier, father, Noah Frazier, brother John Frazier, sister Beverly Faubion, and daughter Ann Roberts.

Dorothy is survived by sons Bill Petree (Stephanne) and Tony Petree (Laurine). Grandchildren, Alysia Delozier (Cody), Danny Petree (Lola), Michael Flathers,  Shelby Sharp (Josh) and Danielle Petree (Sara). Great-grandchildren DJ Delozier, Kailee Sharp and Lexi Sharp along with extended family and many special friends.

Dorothy was born on September 17, 1930, in Oakley, Kansas and graduated from Oakley High School and later from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She spent several years as a math teacher until becoming a stay-at-home mom when the children were born.

Dorothy loved to play bridge, playing in several groups over the years. She was a member of P.EO. International, Chapter EN. Dorothy loved Christmas with the family at the family home in Littleton, where she lived for 50 years.  She would put up amazing Christmas trees and the family had many happy Christmas gatherings with Grandma Dee.

The Funeral will be held at 11:00am Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Drinkwine Family Mortuary, 999 W Littleton Blvd, Littleton, CO 80120. Reception will follow at the same location.
