Edna Ruth Briggs

Mrs Edna Ruth Briggs, of Littleton Co, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026 at her home following a very brief illness at the age of 93. Ruth was born in Williamson WV and raised in Grundy VA. She was the daughter of Robert and Flora Lark. Ruth graduated from Grundy Senior High School in 1951 and Business College. Ruth loved her family, friends, traveling and was an avid reader.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband John Briggs, her parents Robert and Flora Lark, brothers Virgil Lark, Lawrence Lark, Jack Lark, sisters Dorothy Horn, and Shirley Hackney.

Those left to cherish her memory are her nephews and niece Patrick (Sharon) Lark, Rusty (Vickie) Lark, Gary Lark, and Robin Horn. Her dear friends Jan Aliff, Sue Cove, and Bree Amsberry.

There will be no services at this time per Ruth’s wishes.
