Eleanore Pellegrini

Eleanore Pellegrini passed peacefully in her home surrounded by loving family on August 16th, 2025.  Born in Detroit on July 30th, 1935, Eleanore leaves behind a wide community of beloved friends and her 3 sons, their wives and grandchildren as follows: Peter Vincent and Cindy, Pete’s children Connor, Rachel and Tyler, Robert William and Kim, their son Joseph, Edward Enzo and Amy, son Torin.  

Eleanore’s maiden name was Sluma, being of German descent. She married Edward Enzo Pellegrini on October 24, 1959, and moved to Denver. They settled into their home in 1960 where she raised her three sons and she continued to live there for 65 years. Eleanore was widowed on April 1st, 1982, despite the tragic and untimely loss of Edward, she maintained her career and focused on raising her then teenage boys.  

During Eleanore’s full life as a supportive wife, dedicated mother and professional dental hygienist, she continued to pursue her passion and love for the Game of Golf. Despite being known as a serious competitor, she graciously mentored and shared her knowledge and talents with others. She was highly regarded within the Colorado golfing community both on and off the course. Her dedication and talent led to the distinct honor of the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020 by the Colorado Golf Association (CGA). Her golfing accolades include two titles in the CGA Women’s Senior Stroke Play (1986 and ’88), six in the CGA Women’s Brassie partner tournament (1978 to ’98), 20 women’s club championships at Wellshire Golf Course and 17 at The Pinery Country Club, In addition, she served as a vice-president at the Colorado Women’s Golf Association (CWGA), helped on the CWGA’s Course Rating and Handicap Committee and also as a club president at Wellshire.

Celebration of Life service will be on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:00 am at Waterstone Church - 5890 S. Alkire St., Littleton, CO 80127 with a reception to follow. 

Eleanore and her family request that in lieu of flowers any donations be made to a local charity or association of your choosing.
