Emily “Ann” Rotruck, a Denver native, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2021. A graduate of Denver South High School, she was married for 68 years to the love of her life, Ty, whom she met at a roller-skating rink in Denver during World War II. A music lover as well as a dancer, she along with her husband Ty, cued and taught round dancing for over 25 years locally and nationally. Their love for the art was demonstrated with every step they took on the dance floor. Ann was preceded in death by her husband and, together, they are again doing the perfect waltz for the heavenly hosts. Ann is survived by her 3 children, Bill (Rachelle) Rotruck of Denver, CO, Richard Rotruck (Mary Beth Moser) of Vashon, WA, Diane (Dale) Varner of Elizabeth, CO, 2 grandsons, Benjamin (Katie) Varner of Mojave, CA, Richard (Keri) Varner of Chepachet, RI, 2 great granddaughters, CiCi Varner and Cheyanne Varner, a brother, Donald (Shirley) Williams of Littleton, CO,and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 P.M., Tuesday, February 23, 2020 at Drinkwine Family Mortuary. A private service will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery where Ann will be laid to rest with her husband.
