Eunice Marie Costello

Eunice M Costello passed peacefully on August 13 at her home in Legacy Village in Castle Pines surrounded by her loving family. Eunice was born on December 23, 1929, in New York City. Eunice moved with her husband, Dick to Bow Mar Colorado in 1988. She was a homemaker and devoted Mom and Caregiver. To know Eunice was to love her. She was a woman of great faith. She was sweetness personified. She will be deeply missed.

Eunice is predeceased by her parents Al and Florence Whitley, her loving husband, Richard (Dick), and her sons Danny and Matthew. Eunice is survived by her brother Al Whitley and her children: Susan Ryerson (Kenneth), Richard Costello (Mary deceased), Christopher Costello, Laura Metcalfe (Jim), and Amy Scully (Rod). She is also survived by 4 Granddaughters and 5 grandsons and 8 loving great grandchildren.

Eunice’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Legacy Village who lovingly cared for Eunice this past year especially in her final days. We are also grateful for the compassionate staff and services of Lumicare Hospice.

A visitation will be held August 17th, Wednesday, 4:00PM - 6:30PM with Recitation of Rosary at 6:30 PM, both at Drinkwine Family Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be held, August 18th, Thursday, 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church. Eunice will be laid to rest with her husband, Richard, at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
