Fred Maurice Chaffee

Fred M. Chafee died unexpectedly August 2, 2023 at the age of 51 at  his home in Denver, CO. His funeral service will be held this Thursday August 17th at Drinkwine Family Mortuary, Littleton, CO at 11AM. The burial service will follow at Littleton Cemetery at 1PM.

Fred was born on November 11, 1971 in Roswell, NM to Fred H. and Mary DeAnn Chaffee. Fred is survived by his parents; his wife Cansas Chaffee; his children Julie and Kevin Chafee and stepchildren Jeffrey Muller, Nicholas and Elizabeth Grieger; his sister Renee Camacho, nephew Ryan Camacho and niece Sonora Camacho.

Fred graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1994 with a Bachelor's Degree in Science Agricultural Business from Arapahoe Community College in 1997 with the Law Enforcement Training Academy and Cook Street Culinary of Arts in 2022.

Fred was a very gentle, kind and living person to anyone who crossed his path. He cherished his wife, children, parents and loved his family and friends. He enjoyed camping, dirt bike riding, cooking, dancing and many other things. Thanks to his parents his life was open to experiencing and doing lots of different things. He put himself through college in rodeos with his horse Fluffy. There are so many things he was able to experience in life. He felt truly blessed for what he was given.
