Fred C. Meister, Junior
Born November 3, 1929 in Springfield, Missouri. Son of Fred and Irma Meister Senior
Raised in Des Moines, Iowa. As a graduate of Roosevelt high school, during that time, he met the love of his life Joan Nuzum at Roosevelt High school. Attended Drake University for 2 years before serving in the Air Force during the Korean War from 1948-1955. In 1949, Fred and Joan were married and had four daughters.
Upon his discharge, worked as a 2nd generation employee of the Travelers Insurance Company as an Agency Manager and property adjuster.
In 1960, The Travelers transferred Fred to Denver to open up the first Travelers office in Colorado.
In 1963, Fred quit the Travelers to become a successful independent insurance agent, buying three more agencies, a property management company, and real estate brokerage.
Fred is preceded by his wife, Joan W. Meister of 67 years and daughter Kim Maurine Bonham. Survivors include Kathi Matlock(Garrette), Kelly Maldonado(Lee) Karol Holland(Jim). Grandchildren, Danny, Brian, Michael, Christian, Alex. Great grandchild Kirsten, Cabe, Taelynn.
