Geoffrey Edward Overfield

A great light went out on September 12, 2025 when Geoffrey E Overfield passed from this mortal life to the next.

His too brief 39years were filled with all the joys and troubles that life brought him- as well as everything he sought and worked hard and fought for in life. Persistence, tenacity, curiosity, joy, generosity, and love were his guideposts on the way.

The results brought him a life filled with rich friendships, a host of people and family who will forever love him. He had a career he loved, great adventures near and far- and usually left behind a small duck somewhere in his wake. (Either that or mailed an occasional Billy Box!)

Geoff is survived by his mother, Brenda, his brothers Brian and Ben, his beloved Holli, friends from everywhere (literally), co-workers, and his father, Gary.

There is none among us who were not touched deeply, who did not outrageously laugh out loud when together, whose lives learned a little more about love and friendship by knowing Geoff.

Our loss is profound. Our hearts are shattered. You will forever leave a space in them with your name on it. We miss you. We love you-forever.

Into paradise May the angels lead you. At your coming May the trumpets sound. May you be received into the sacred rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 11 AM at Drinkwine Family Mortuary.
(Please bring something that squeaks to the service.)
