Georgia Carol Reader passed away on May 3rd, 2018 at the age of 77.
Georgia was born December 3, 1940 in Laramie Wyoming. She grew up on a ranch in Wheatland, Wyoming where she acquired the pride and self-resilience that would follow her the rest of her life. She graduated from Wheatland High School and later Barnes Business College in Denver, Colorado. It was after moving to Denver that she would meet her future husband James Howard Reader. They were married for 15 years until his passing in 1976.
After retiring as an Executive Administrative Assistant, Georgia began volunteering at the Littleton Adventist Hospital’s gift shop where she was the top salesperson for 10 years. Volunteering was her passion. Even after being admitted to the hospital, Georgia made sure to tell the hospital staff to go down and purchase something from the gift shop.
Georgia is survived by her sons Michael and Timothy, daughter-in-law Tracy, four grandchildren, Christine, Steven, Andrew and Alex, four great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Levi, Bentley and Taylor and by her sister Mickey and brother-in–law Fred.
