Obituary

Gladys L Evans, formally of Englewood, passed away peacefully August 20, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Evans, parents, Clinton and Margaret Ayres, sister’s Helen Anderson, Dorothy Banister, brothers James Ayres and Larry Ayres. 

Gladys will be greatly missed by her sisters Leona Cadiuex (Ed), Shirley Stevenson, Betty Sullivan and Barb Miller (Larry).  Her children – Terri Duncan (Chris), Lee Evans (Kathy), Sue Rhine (Matt).  Grandchildren – Krista Duncan (Doug), Sarah DeLong (Laurel), Missy Lewis (Vince), Beth Shearer (Ethan), Melinda Kolus (Justin), Jordan Duncan (Brady) and Emily Duncan, Jay Rhine (Alexis), Dakota Rhine and her many great-grandchildren.

Gladys worked for many years for Tri-County health before retiring at the young age of 77.  She enjoyed crocheting and embroidery, listening to George Strait music and watching Tom Selleck movies and shows.

She loved to travel gathering with her sisters in VA and her Terri in PA and spending holidays with Sue and Lee in Colorado. 

Funeral services will be at Drinkwine Mortuary, September 1, 2023 at 10:30am with services at the Ft Logan Cemetery at 12:00pm.
