Glenn R. Rupp was born November 22, 1934 to Harold and Mildred Rupp at Cambridge, Nebraska and died May 12, 2022 in Littleton, Colorado.
Glenn spent his childhood in the communities of Holbrook, Edison, and Cambridge Nebraska. He attended grade school in Furnace County and graduated from Cambridge High School with the class of 1952. After graduation he worked on the farm helping his parents and for a time working in Construction,
Glenn served two years in the U.S. Army, from 1957 till 1959. He was a SP4 and worked on training planes. He was stationed in Virginia, Alabama, and California.
August 1, 1959 he was united in marriage to Thelma J, Siebecker. To this union was born a daughter, JoAnn. The first two years of marriage he lived and worked in McCook, Nebraska. He moved to Colorado in 1961 and served the Littleton community as a dedicated Fireman for the City of Littleton. He received recognition for outstanding public service as an employee of the City of Littleton, and letters of commendation for his performance and safety while driving the fire truck. He was honored for 25 years of service and took retirement on November 1, 1989.
Glenn was a caring husband and father. He will be greatly missed by all his relatives and friends. Preceding him in death are his father and mother, Harold & Mildred Rupp of Cambridge, Nebraska. Survivors are his wife, Thelma and daughter, JoAnn of Littleton, Colorado: his sister and her husband, Donna and Sam Shafer of Rolla, MO; his aunt, Myrna Bundy of Norton, Kansas; cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
Viewing and visitation will be held from 11:30 - 1:30 PM Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Drinkwine Family Mortuary with Graveside services to follow at 2:15 PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery (staging area C).
A reception/gathering will follow burial at Outback Steakhouse - 8601 West Cross Drive Littleton, CO 80123 at 3:30.
