Glenn Thibault Obituary

Glenn Michael Thibault passed from this world on November 27, 2021. It has been said of Glenn that few people could have condensed so much life into 56 short years.

Glenn was born to Norman and Elizabeth Thibault on August 8, 1965 on the military base at Argentia, Newfoundland, Canada. Being a child in a military family, Glenn lived up and down the Eastern Seaboard, from South Carolina to Newfoundland with many stops in between. Because of this, he was adept at making friends quickly and keeping them for life.

Upon graduating High School in Jacksonville, NC, Glenn joined the Air Force, being stationed throughout his seven years at Ellsworth Air Force Base in Rapid City, SD. It was there that his son Michael was born, who Glenn was raising when he met the love his life, Nicki Quaratino. They met in August, 1991 at the Grand Prix of Denver and were married in July, 1993. Theirs was a storybook marriage, made more beautiful by the addition of their children Cody, Halee, Matthew, and Ryan.

Glenn had a number of hobbies and passions. He was an avid golfer, hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed organized sports immensely – especially the North Carolina Tar Heels, Valor Christian Eagles, and all Colorado professional teams. Nothing, however, compared to the complete, encompassing love he had for his wife, children, and extended family. He loved coaching their athletic teams, taking trips with them, and planning vacations specific to each of his children. He loved giving to them, laughing with them, teasing them, and taking care of them. They were his world. His joy was full when he became a grandfather to Jameson, and then again, with Charlie. He loved being a grandfather.

If you were fortunate to know Glenn, he would not let you go. He would check in, call, text, or email you to let you know he was thinking of you. He had friends across the globe and for the duration of his life.

Glenn was very successful in business. His ability to connect with his colleagues, employees, and customers allowed him to elevate those around him and create amazing results. He became President of BeamOne in 2008 and five years later he and the other owners of the company sold it, when BeamOne had increased seven-fold. Shortly thereafter, his brother Norm presented the idea of creating a treatment center exclusive to adopted children, Three Points Center. Glenn’s response was, “My dreams have come true – let’s make yours come true.” As the CFO and principal owner of Three Points Center, Glenn continued to demonstrate his acumen in business and in helping others. Literally hundreds of adopted children and their families have been helped thus far through treatment at Three Points Center. Glenn served as CFO until his passing.

Glenn has touched the lives of so many. It could be said that his hobby was wanting others to have good things, and this he did through his talents, his generosity, his sense of humor, and his love of others. Truly, he made the world a better place for all who knew him.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Nicki; his five children, Michael (Nicole), Cody (Kendra), Halee, Matthew, and Ryan; his sister, Shannon Giresi, and brother, Norm Thibault and sister-in-law Megan Thibault; his mother, Elizabeth Brown and stepfather, Billy Brown; his mother-in-law Diane Quaratino; his brothers-in-law Dion Quaratino and Danny Quaratino; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends, and his favorite people – his grandsons, Jameson and Charlie.
