H. Kent Minet

H. Kent "H.K." Minet, a devoted Christian and accomplished design engineer, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, in Littleton, Colorado. He was 84 years old.

Born on November 20, 1940, in Dodge City, Kansas, to Joseph and Margaret Minet, Kent grew up with a passion for innovation and a deep appreciation for the natural world. His career as a design engineer was marked by ingenuity and dedication, culminating in three patents for machines he designed—testaments to his brilliance and creativity.

Kent’s life was enriched by his love of camping, nature, and football, a lifelong Broncos fan. Whether exploring the great outdoors or cheering on his favorite teams, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His warm smile and kind demeanor left an ever-lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. A sweet and loving man with an ever-present smile, Kent was admired for his intelligence and cherished by all who crossed his path.

A devoted family man, Kent is survived by his daughters Pamela Falls and Jackie Wahler; grandsons Zachary Welz, Brandon Bain, Liam Wahler, and Conor Wahler; and two great-granddaughters, Alyssa and Ellie. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara Minet of 47 years and his parents Joseph and Margaret.

Friends and family are invited to honor Kent’s memory at a viewing on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Drinkwine Mortuary, located at 999 W. Littleton Blvd., Littleton, Colorado 80120. A funeral service will follow on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM to at the same location.

Kent’s legacy of kindness, ingenuity, and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
