Henry J. “Pat” Martin

Henry J. "Pat" Martin died suddenly and peacefully May 22, 2023. He was born August 3, 1949,  to Eugenia & Henry J. Martin, Sr.. Pat grew up in Merrick, NY, and was a graduate of Calhoun High School there. He  graduated from Bucknell University, then obtained a master's degree in geophysics from Brown University. He worked for many years in the oil and gas industry exploring the earth for petroleum reserves.

His first job took him to Louisiana where he met Susan Richard. They married in Acadia Parish on November 30, 1974.  She survives, as do their daughters Elizabeth Lahti, Erin O'Brien, and Therese Martin. Also surviving are sons-in-law Kurt Lahti, Joe O'Brien, and six grandchildren: Zachary, Elijah, Senya, Hope, Audrey, & Finn.  Pat is survived by his younger siblings Peter, Philip, Raymond, Nancy Blumenfeld, their spouses, and many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Thursday, June 1, 12:00 -1:30 pm at Drinkwine Mortuary, 999 W. Littleton Blvd., Littleton, CO 80120. A 2 pm funeral mass will follow visitation at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 5612 S. Hickory St., Littleton, CO 80120.  Burial will be June 2, at 10 am, Littleton Cemetery Assn., 6155 S. Prince St., Littleton, CO 80120.
