Herman Louis Stryker Jr.

With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and brother, Herman Louis Stryker, Jr., on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024. He was born on May 29th, 1941, and lived a life full of love and laughter.

He is survived by his children, Betsy Taylor, Terri McBride (Mike McBride), and Shelly Stryker; his grandchildren, Blake Brown, Makayla McNally, Brooke McBride, Brody Loughlin, Jake McBride, Makenzie Taylor, and Owen Loughlin; and his siblings, James Stryker and Patricia Vincent. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Katherine Stryker. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Louie was known for his kindness, sense of humor, and dedication to his family. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hiking, biking, and fishing.

A celebration of life will be held on October 8th at Shelly Stryker’s home, 10123 Jill Ave, Highlands Ranch, CO 80130, at 3:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Denver Dumb Friends League in his name.
