Jacqueline L. Walton

Jackie Lucille Walton, 76 of Lakewood passed away peacefully on March 28, 2018. Survived by her two sons Kelly Leid and Scott Leid, two grandchildren Campbell Leid and Brody Leid and her brother James Haas. Jackie was born in Trinidad, Colorado spending her childhood adoring her father, Jack Walton who was the football coach and athletic director at Trinidad State Junior College.
Jackie graduated from South High School in Denver and was a proud homemaker, raising her two sons with their father Bob Leid in Arvada, Colorado. Once her boys were older, she went back to school to pursue her nursing degree. 
For nearly three decades Jackie served as a hospice nurse, a job she truly loved, caring for the sick and comforting their families. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved to read and cherished watching her two sons compete in sports.  
A grave site service will be held in Trinidad at the Masonic Cemetery on April 6th, beginning at approximately 1:30 pm.
