Jaime Maroney Bott Obituary

In Loving Memory of Jaime Rae Maroney Bott

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jaime Rae Bott, who left us far too soon on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the age of 45.

Born on July 28, 1979, in Littleton, Colorado, Jaime graduated from Chatfield High School in 1997. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Colorado State University in 2001, where she was a member of the Psi Chi, National Honor Society in Psychology. Jaime went on to complete a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Denver in 2005. She was very proud of her professional achievements. Jaime had a truly beautiful spirit and touched countless lives, especially through her many years as a dedicated social worker. Her most recent work was with the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless.

Jaime's passion for helping those in need was unparalleled, and her impact on so many individuals and families she supported will never be forgotten. Though Jaime faced significant health challenges, she approached life with resilience and courage. Her strength and determination inspired those around her, and her golden heart shone through, even in the most difficult moments.

Jaime had a daily relationship with God, finding peace and joy in His great outdoors, especially the breathtaking landscapes of Colorado. She poured energy into challenging herself with hiking 14,000-foot peaks, competing in triathlons and obstacle races through snow at 10,000-foot elevations, and running 10K races.

Beyond her achievements, Jaime was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin, partner, and friend. Her warm smile, infectious laughter, and genuine heart brought light to all who knew her. She also had a very special connection with animals, and rescued dogs and cats when she could, giving them a loving home.

Jaime is survived by her father, Harry James Bott, Jr., her brothers Jeremy (Stacy) and Jeffry Bott (Jordan), niece Kaylie and nephew Ashton (Brianna), and her loving partner (Lenny Parker). She was preceded in death by her mother, Jackie Rae Carlton-Bott, Grandmothers (Ina Carlton, Barbara Bott), Grandfathers (Albert Carlton Sr, Harry Bott Sr.). Jaime will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins as well as friends, coworkers, and all whose lives she touched.

A celebration of Jaime’s life will be held at 1pm on January 11th, 2025 at Drinkwine Family Mortuary, in Littleton. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to Capitol Hill Ministries, www.chumdenver.org/donate

A reception will follow the service at Aunt Cindy's residence; details will be provided at the service.
