James worked for 3M his entire career as a Sales and Training Manager and retired in 2009, settling in Golden in 2014. He will always and forever be a Broncos fan, but James had two athletic passions, ski and golf. For just over 30 years, he was a racing coach for the Loveland Ski Club and was a 30-year member of The Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA). He was very involved in his children’s athletic careers and extracurricular interests. He was a past president of the Rocky Mountain Swim League, head timer for the Cherry Creek High School girls swim team, coached soccer, attended countless gymnastics competitions and learned to sit through many choir concerts and baseball games. He always appreciated a good science project.
