JANICE MARTINEZ

December 1, 1946 – November 16, 2021

Janice Martinez of Englewood, Colorado died Wednesday, November 16, 2021 at Littleton Adventist Hospital in Littleton, Colorado. 

She was born on December 1, 1946 in Elliott County Kentucky to Carma and Sidney Johnson.  Survivors include her three daughters, Dana M. Bassett (Broomfield, Colorado), Kimberly L. Martinez (Englewood, Colorado), and Arria K. Gonzalez (Fort Dodge, Iowa), along with three grandsons, Cyprian, William and Cody, and three granddaughters, Hannah, Autumnn and Delilah. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Madison. 

She spent most of her adult life working in/with the cosmetology business. She is best known by her family, friends and customers for her beautiful smile, her kindness and generosity, and her firm but loving nature. She had a great sense of humor and could control her children and grandchildren with a single look. She is loved and will be greatly missed by all. 

A memorial service will be held at Drinkwine Family Chapel, 999 W. Littleton Boulevard, Littleton, Colorado at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021.
