Jeffrey Lemoine Reyes
August 17th, 1955 – May 30th, 2020

Jeffrey Lemoine Reyes was born in Denver, Colorado on August 17th, 1955 to Henry and Starr Reyes. He attended Edward L. Brown Elementary School (Denver, CO), Euclid Junior High (Littleton, CO), and Lynbrook High School (San Jose, CA). At Lynbrook, he would play linebacker on a championship winning football team and earned the nickname The Colorado Flash. He would later attend Los Gatos High School (Los Gatos, CA) breaking several track records while there. After relocating back to Colorado with his family, he would graduate from Littleton High School (Littleton, CO).

He began his career with the City and County of Denver working shows/concerts for some of the biggest acts to come to Colorado. He would spend 39 years with the city moving throughout different departments and retired in 2017

In his younger days he was an avid skier and spoke fondly of his time as a “ski bum” throughout Colorado. When he wasn’t skiing, he would work on art projects and his photography. Jeff’s love for the mountains did not end during his days as a skier, he loved to go four wheeling, fishing, and exploring anything the Rockies had to offer. When he wasn’t outdoors, he loved to play guitar, craft new barbeque recipes, root for the Broncos, and spend time with family and friends.

Jeff is survived by his wife Suzanne Reyes, sons Kyle Gisbert-Reyes and Aaron Reyes, mother Starr Reyes, and his brothers Alan and Loren Reyes. He will be remembered for his big heart, being a true Coloradan, and for being an astounding husband, father, son, brother, cousin and friend.

Memorial services will be held at Drinkwine Family Mortuary on July 31st, 2020 at 1:00PM.
