Jeremy Bernard Coffelt of Santa Ana, California and Littleton, Colorado was born August 8, 1961. He was born in Denver to Bernadette and Charles Coffelt and grew up in Littleton with two siblings, Kerstin and Brennan. Jeremy attended St. Mary's School and Heritage High School in Littleton. He graduated from Colorado State University.
Jeremy worked as a highway engineer in California for the duration of his professional career. In his private life, Jeremy was very involved with his Catholic parish, St. John the Baptist, in California. Jeremy was a devoted Catholic. He began serving Mass as an altar boy when he was 6 years old. He continued his service to the Church as an adult. He was a reader of Scripture for Masses and he also worked as the sacristan for his parish. Jeremy vacationed every year in Paonia, Colorado where his mother was born. The Coffelt, Bruno and Moore cousins spent many happy summer days at their grandmother's home in Paonia.
Jeremy demonstrated great generosity to his family including buying a car for his mother. Jeremy's family and friends have fond memories of past times he spent with them and he will be greatly missed.
Jeremy is survived by his aunt, Dea Bruno, his uncle, Fred Moore, his aunt, Ann Palmer and cousins of the Moore Family, the Bruno Family and the Palmer Family. Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother and father, Bernadette and Charles Coffelt, his brother, Brennan Coffelt, his sister, Kerstin Coffelt, his aunt, Paula Ann Moore and his uncle, Angelo Bruno.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 29th, 10:30 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Littleton, Colorado.
