Jimmie (Jim) Forest Jeffries was born on December 29, 1938 to Jewell and Hazel Jeffries in Lamar, Colorado. Jim was the youngest of eight children. 

In 1948 the family moved to Littleton, Colorado where they farmed property off Broadway. He served in the Army from 1960-1966.

Jim married Linda Dean Paggeot on November 4, 1988. He worked many different jobs throughout his life. He worked in construction, a salesman and a cement truck driver to mention a few.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Jewell and Hazel Jeffries, brother, Kenneth Rawlin Jeffries, sisters, May Oralee Jeffries, Betty Jo Hoeft and Littie Bea Ward, brother, Orin Elvin Jeffries. He is survived by his wife, Linda Jeffries, her children, daughter E’lan Fulton, Jay Fulton, of Aurora, son Andre’ Paggeot {Duffy}, Michelle Paggeot,of Aurora, son Dean Paggeot., of Englewood and 5 grandchildren; daughter Wendy Brown of Lakewood, son Scott Daly of Firestone along with 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Lorin Melvin Jeffries of Ohio, and Donald Ray Jeffries of Littleton and numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved chocolate lab Delilah Jane.

Jim’s family remembers him for loving life and adventure.  He had traveled in all 50 states and most of the Canadian provinces. He loved classic cars, and was the happiest when he could sit down over a cup of coffee and talk with people about ANYTHING, including classic cars.

He was a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America,Inc.  he attended Valley View Christian Church regularly until recently due to his declining health.

After a lengthy illness, Jim entered Heaven on Wednesday, August 14, 2019

A Memorial Service will be held at Valley View Christian Church (11004 Wildfield Lane. Littleton,, CO 80125) on Friday August 23rd at 0900 with burial following 10:30 AM at Ft . Login Cemetery.
