Jimmy Ray "Jim" Rowden, age 83, died Monday, October 26, 2020 in Littleton, CO
Jim is survived by his wife of 61 years Mary of Littleton, 5 children, Michael Rowden (has preceded him in death), Carolyn Breece (Bill)-Myrtle Beach, Scott Rowden (Mary Anne)-Greeley, Tina Cordova (Harold)-Littleton, David Rowden (Keri)-Frederick, 11 Grand Children and 6 Great Grand Children.
Born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas, the son of Ernst and Janie Rowden, he had 2 brothers and 1 sister, all have preceded him in death.
In his early years he worked for Cessna as a machinist, later moving to Garden City, Kansas where he was Assistant Manager of Gano Hoarce Elevator. In 1970 the family moved to Colorado where he worked for Southland Corporation and then went into New Home Sales until his retirement.
Jim had a passion filled life for his family and the outdoors, activities included sky diving, motorcycle racing, hunting, fishing, boating and shooting, one of his biggest joys was his Grand Children and sharing the love of the outdoor activities with them. Jim was a member of the Gun Club in Denver.
