John Alburn Eakin

Our beloved, John Alburn Eakin, Jr., suddenly passed away at his home on January 30, 2025.  He loved life, God, his family and friends, music, jeeping, nature, and so much more.  His heart was huge, his kindness never-ending.  We will miss him so very much, but cherish the memories we hold in our hearts.  

He leaves behind his soulmate Kari Lou Pennington, son Dakota Eakin, daughter in law Emily Eakin, step-daughter Sami Pennington, three grandchildren, Jessica, Alana, Arianna, eight siblings, David, Dwight, Janet, Tony, Barbara, Marilyn, Pam, and Brian, and his fur babies, Bailey, Green Bean, and Snippet.  He was predeceased by his brother Paul.

Please join us for a celebration of his life on Saturday, February 15th at 12 noon in the Drinkwine Mortuary Chapel. We'll have an additional reception and continued celebration of his life at his sister Pam’s house afterwards.  Please message or call 303-263-5691 for details.
