Obituary
John Charles Held, Jr., was born on May 7, 1961, in Waco, Texas to John Charles Held and Joann Harrill Held. He passed away in Denver, Colorado on July 5, 2023. He is preceded in death by John Charles Held, Sr., and brother, James Craig Held. He is survived by his mother, Joann Held; daughter, Christie R. Held and children; Julie Held Moorhead and husband, Cary Moorhead; Jeffrey Andrew Held and wife, Frances Held; and his six nieces and nephews.
He will forever be remembered as an avid outdoorsman and a loyal person to those who welcomed his friendship.
John lived life to its fullest. He scuba dived, jumped out of planes, skied, hunted, hiked, fished, and summited 36 of Colorado's 14,000 foot peaks.
He taught himself the business of landscape and irrigation in 1978 and grew his own business in success.
May every person who knew and loved him seek adventures in his honor.
